Garden Gallery

The garden is situated over 600 feet above sea level and offers stunning views of the Forest of Bowland. On a good day you can see the Welsh mountains and the Isle of Man, but the garden is also open to the elements and the plants grown here have to be hardy.

A walk along the garden paths reveals many surprising features:

Secluded corners, alive with the tranquil movement and texture of many grasses and sedges

A large pond surrounded by a Japanese garden with gazebo and stone features

90 metres of water bubbling through the length of the garden.

NEW for this year-opening May 1st, colour theme area and national gerianium collection from Catforth Gardens
